Back in 2022, Andrew and I made the challenging decision to take a break from photographing large weddings for 2023. We have been very thankful that we took a year to rest and pray over the direction of our business and lives. Our newfound time has allowed us to renovate a house, pursue foster parent licensure, take on midwifery opportunities, and travel to incredible places.

Stemming from this sabbatical, we have new priorities... one of them being becoming a family of three (or six! #fosterfamily)

As inquiries for 2024 weddings and births began rolling in, we have prayed intently on next steps.

We have come to the difficult decision that we need to step down from making contracted bookings through 2024 as we anticipate significant life changes.

We have booked a handful of weddings for friends marrying next year and we know that we've hit our full capacity as we conclude our foster care licensure home study and are praying about multiple job and missions opportunities. It's hard to tell what God will be doing with our lives this time next year!

Here's our plans on how we're moving forward with our business, which has thrived thanks to our amazing clients.

Summer and Fall of 2023:

I am fully booked for all contracted events, which includes births and all styles of weddings.

As our home study finalizes, I have very limited session availability. I will not be able to book sessions very far in advance this year due to the unpredictable trajectory of our lives, but may have last-minute slots become available, should our licensure be delayed. I always welcome inquiries -- never hesitate to reach out!

2024:

I am unable to book contracted events or sessions more than 1-2 months in advance, however (!): for sessions, births, or spontaneous intimate weddings/elopements, please do not hesitate to reach out to me -- I may have last-minute availability!

I am so grateful for each and every one of you who have given me the privilege of photographing your biggest milestones, giving me my dream job. You have entrusted me to safe-keep your most important memories and I couldn’t be more honored!

Cheers to living exciting, UNPREDICTABLE, ever-changing lives...

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
